Webinar: Opportunities for Innovations through Collaboration

Part I of the NSF-NSTC Workshop on Semiconductor ACED Fab will be in webinar format for NSF and NSTC to introduce the collaborating opportunities and the Advanced Chip Engineering Design and Fabrication (ACED Fab) pilot program to both the US and Taiwan research communities. It will be followed by an Invited Session for invited leaders in advanced semiconductor materials, devices, systems, as well as their integration and key applications, to discuss challenges and emerging opportunities in semiconductor design and fabrication. The topics of the talks will have broader emphasis on several key areas including (a) Energy-efficient circuits and systems, (b) Edge-AI sensing, computing, and communication, (c) Quantum chips, and (d) Emerging semiconductor heterogeneous integration.
Virtual Symposium: Foundry Access and Networking Opportunities

Part II of the NSF-NSTC Workshop on Semiconductor ACED Fab will be focused on accessing advanced technologies and provides networking opportunities for participants to explore collaborations. There will be an information session on utilizing technology services based in US and in Taiwan, as well as an extended Q&As for the NSF-NSTC joint pilot program. It will be followed with a poster session and breakout round-table discussion sessions. Registered attendees will gain access to preloaded posters and researcher profiles, during and after the workshop for collaborative proposal team building.
